Five Minute Friday: Close

Close to the end.

Nothing particularly brilliant comes instantly to mind for this word, but it’s a good exercise to force my brain to think on one word, one idea.

I am close to the end.

The hard labor pains begin now. The editing process on my book has felt like Braxton Hicks labor anyway, but this coming week as I finally finalize and tighten every sentence the intensity increases.

Close. It is very close.

This post is part of 5 minute fridays where you are given a word of the day and you write for 5 minutes and 5 minutes only.
