Growing Strong By Design

Genuine faith is demonstrated by following God regardless of feelings inside of us, in spite of the circumstances before us, and no matter what the consequences result for us.
~ Stephen Davey

Sometimes faith is just quiet, during the getting through it part.

Sometimes faith is just buoyed by encouragement from others. Yesterday that encouragement came in two ways… first in Natalie Grant’s new song, “Hurricane”. She tweeted, “God knows exactly where you were an hour ago, where you’ll be tomorrow & where you are now. You are not alone.” #HURRICANE, via @NatalieGrant.

Then in Jim Rohn’s statement, “We all have two choices: we can make a living or we can design a life.” I have been busy trying to find the place to make a living, and now it is time to work on the design and let the rest fall into place as it will.

Finally, as Willard Marriott said, “Good timber does not grow with ease; the stronger the wind, the stronger the trees.”

Quietly walking through the wind, growing stronger.
